What is Redfish?
Redfish is a social network inspired by disposable cameras. Every month you get a roll with a limited number of shots. No editing: your photos are revealed when the roll is developed, and you share them with your friends.
When will the app be available?
Redfish is coming very soon to the App Store and Google Play. Keep an eye on this site: download links will show up here at launch.
When do I get to see my photos?
When your roll is full or expired, it gets developed. Your photos then show up in your journal and in shared memories with your friends.
Can I edit my photos?
No, and that’s the point. The film look is applied when you shoot, and the photo stays as it is.
How do events work?
An organizer creates the event and sets the number of guests (2 to 100) and photos per participant. Guests join with a code, a link or a QR code, and each gets their own camera. Depending on its setup, creating an event may be paid: the price is always shown before you confirm.
Why does the app need my location?
Only to show events around you and to check you are actually there when joining an event. It is never used in the background, and you can decline.
How old do I need to be?
You must be at least 15 years old to create a Redfish account.
